It fits right on top of the pickets between the fence posts to complete your Slipfence Vertical Panel and not only does it look fantastic, it also helps protect the tops of the pickets from being exposed to the elements. You can cut the Cap Rail at any length just like the Slipfence Stringers with an aluminum cutting blade and it just slips on and fastens quickly and easily with 2 of the Slipfence stainless wood screws included in the Slipfence USK093, universal stringer kit.
